Over de functie
As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and repair machinery, installations and buildings within a production environment. You will work on both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring that technical issues are resolved quickly and production downtime is kept to a minimum. You will carry out preventive maintenance, investigate technical problems and suggest improvements to the machinery. You will work closely with colleagues from the Maintenance Department and regularly communicate with production employees. Safety, quality and hygiene are essential aspects of your work.
Your responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and installations;
- Identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical faults;
- Maintaining refrigeration systems, production machinery and technical installations;
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance activities;
- Repairing and replacing defective machine components;
- Communicating with production employees about technical issues and machine performance;
- Suggesting technical improvements and modifications to machinery.
Working hours: 3-shift system, with shifts from 05:00 to 13:00, 13:00 to 21:00 and 21:00 to 05:00. Working days: Monday to Friday. You will generally have weekends off, although occasional breakdown and weekend duties may be required.
Wat wij bieden
- A gross monthly salary of € 4.304,- to € 5.628,-, including an average shift allowance of 16.66%;
- A direct employment contract with the company, with the prospect of a permanent contract;
- 25 paid vacation days per year based on full-time employment;

- Additional leave arrangements and the option to make use of a "time for time" arrangement;
- Travel reimbursement of € 0.23 per kilometre, up to 30 kilometres each way;

- Overtime paid at 130%, Saturday hours at 150% and Sunday hours at 200%;
- Public holiday hours paid at 200%, plus compensatory time off;

Wat wij vragen
- You have completed a technical education or vocational qualification;
- You have experience as a maintenance technician, for example in an industrial environment;
- You have knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering;
- You have a good command of English;
- You are willing to work in a 3-shift system and occasionally participate in breakdown and weekend duties.
