Over de functie
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating an automated packaging line for frozen mushrooms. You will package products in bags ranging from 500 grams to 10 kilograms. The production line includes conveyor belts, a multihead weigher, a vertical packaging machine and a robot that stacks boxes onto pallets. You will operate the packaging line independently and ensure that production orders are completed according to schedule. You will monitor machine settings, maintain product quality and resolve minor technical issues. You will work closely with forklift drivers and production colleagues.
Your responsibilities as a Machine Operator:
- Setting up, operating and monitoring the automated packaging line;
- Changing machine settings and replacing packaging materials;
- Monitoring production schedules, product quality and output;
- Troubleshooting minor technical issues and carrying out small repairs;
- Cleaning and maintaining machines and the working environment;
- Taking samples and performing quality checks;
- Identifying problems and suggesting process improvements.
Working hours: 3-shift system, with shifts from 05:00 to 13:00, 13:00 to 21:00 and 21:00 to 05:00. Working days: Monday to Friday. You will generally have weekends off.
Wat wij bieden
- A gross monthly salary of € 3.097,- to € 3.851,-, including an average shift allowance of 16.66%;
- A direct employment contract with the company, with the prospect of a permanent contract;
- 25 paid vacation days per year based on full-time employment;

- Travel reimbursement of € 0.23 per kilometre, up to 30 kilometres each way;
- A pension scheme with an employee contribution of only 4%;
- Overtime paid at 130%, Saturday hours at 150% and Sunday hours at 200%;

Wat wij vragen
- You have technical insight and an interest in production machinery;
- Previous experience as an operator in the food industry is an advantage;
- You work accurately and pay attention to quality and food safety;
- You have a good command of Dutch, English or German;
- You are willing to work in a 3-shift system.
