About the job
As a Terminal Employee, you support the logistics processes at the terminal. You will work on the yard, in the warehouse, or at the transfer points between water, road and rail;
Your tasks:
- Ensure that goods are moved safely;
- Assist with setting up and clearing work areas on the terminal;
- Perform tasks such as connecting or disconnecting pipelines or cables, opening and closing valves, and checking cargo;
- Report deviations and collaborate with colleagues on the terminal;
- Plan and prepare tasks to keep processes running smoothly;
- Ensure a safe, clean, and presentable work environment;
- Work according to clear instructions and contribute to a safe and tidy workplace;
Work outdoors in all weather conditions and stay active throughout the day
You will work Monday to Friday in day shifts. Working hours are negotiable.
What we offer
- A salary of up to € 16.66 gross per hour;
- 25 vacation days + 8.33% holiday allowance;
- Travel allowance from 10 km one way;
- Choice of weekly or four-weekly payment;
- Pension accrual from the first day of employment;
- Permanent contract upon good performance.
What we ask
- Proficiency in Dutch or English;
- Experience in logistics or a similar work environment;
- Full-time availability;
- No fear of heights and willingness to perform physical work.
About the company
As a Terminal Employee, you will work for a logistics company responsible for the storage and transfer of various bulk products, ranging from animal feed to beet pulp. The location is unique and strategically positioned, allowing efficient handling between water, road, and rail. The company motto is: “Actions speak louder than words.” As an Operator, you will work closely with other Terminal Employees to ensure that containers are transferred as quickly as possible.
