About the job
As a Reach Truck Driver, you will ensure that goods arrive safely and on time at the right location. You will operate a reach truck daily and work alongside your colleagues in the warehouse. This is a varied role in which you will work independently most of the time. When there is less reach truck work available, you will also assist with other tasks, such as order picking, labelling, repacking and packaging products.
Do you have a category T driving licence and experience driving a terminal tractor or a vehicle with a trailer? If so, you may also have the opportunity to operate the terminal tractor once every four weeks!
What will you do?
- Move goods using a reach truck;
- Place pallets in and retrieve them from high storage racks;
- Collect and check orders;
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment;
- Label products;
- Repack and package products;
- Pick orders manually.
You will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What we offer
- A gross hourly wage between €15.12 and €16.98. Including the 1.92% ADV allowance, this amounts to €15.41 to €17.31 per hour;
- A 50% bonus for working on Saturdays and a 100% bonus for working on Sundays;
- Travel expense reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre, up to a maximum one-way distance of 50 kilometres;
- 8% holiday allowance;
- 25 days of annual leave based on a full-time working week;
- A working week of 32 to 40 hours on day shifts;
- Long-term employment with the prospect of a permanent contract.
What we ask
- You speak Dutch, English or German;
- You hold a valid reach truck certificate and have experience operating a reach truck;
- You are able to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG);
- You are available at least 4 days per week, including Saturdays when required.
